As a rule, I’m not one to talk about myself in a blog or anything else. I always hate those interviews where they ask you to talk about yourself. And those awful questions like “what are your future goals” or “where do you see yourself going in this company” and worst yet “why do you want to work here?” Um, basically, because I need a job but the questions they ask are just plain hard to answer. Usually, you don’t know enough about the company to even answer those questions. It’s not until after you have been there awhile that you can really answer them with all honesty. All you can do beforehand is pray for God to lead you to the right job and pray that you and your future boss and coworkers get along well together. I believe in doing my best at whatever I do so I will give it my all.
Well, for starters, I am an aspiring up and coming writer you might say. I have lots of ideas for stories and I have finally written my first book called “My Book of Blogs.” I am so excited to finally see my name in print as the author on a book, something that I have wanted for years. It is a small book for my first work but am currently in the process of completing my second book, which is much longer and possibly may turn out to be a novel — not sure yet.
One day I will write my own story but, for now, I have many other topics to write about. I am a grandmother (and soon-to-be great grandmother). I love my husband and grandchildren very much. They are the light of my life.
I have been through the ‘school of hard knocks’ you might say although I know there are many people (particularly these days) who have gone through a lot in their young lives. It’s very sad. But I try to remember what the Bible says: it rains on the just and the unjust.
I am also a born again believer since I committed my life to Jesus at the age of 18. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, who has led me through many a trial in my life.
That is enough talk about me for now. In this website, you will find posts about all kinds of topics, whatever pops in my head, so to speak. So, I hope you enjoy reading my posts!
