So, I challenged myself to write a blog using the daily post words for the past several days into one post just for the fun of it. The daily words are in bold.
The Word of God is priceless. It is more valuable than any other possession we could own. It may not be ooh-shiny on the outside but on the inside it is like jewels not to be compared to anything else. We need to memorize the Word of God so that we can recite it when we need it. We have to educate ourselves in the Word so that we will be ready when that thorny devil comes around trying to unfurl his devices against us. He will lurch around a corner to willy-nilly attack us. And if we do not continue to be enamored with God’s Word, then we can easily become his victim. We need to have a visceral conviction in our hearts for God and His Word.
We should be giving homage to God with a crescendo of praise to Him. Instead, we disobey His commandments when the devil entices us with a magnetic power and puts us in a trance and then we ooze the effects of sin in our lives. No longer are we that peculiar people that we are supposed to be.
We are finite but God is infinite. We cannot elevate ourselves above Him. Instead we should dignify Him with the highest worship and honor we can bestow upon Him.
We need to synchronize our lives with the plan that God created for us instead of trying to recreate our lives for what we think we should be doing.
When it seems like we are always waiting on God for the answers to our prayers and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to our current situation or why we are having to wait for the answer to come, don’t feel alone or like you are the only one. About the time you are wanting sympathy for your situation, you will come across someone else who is having to deal with much more dire circumstances than you are.
We may have a penchant for a flavorful steak but get a grainy piece of toast instead. But don’t lose heart, He loves you and does not leave you in that state but will bring the answer you seek if you do not give up!
